Description
An area Sales manager for the counties of Essex, Kent of Suffolk is required for a Feed manufacturer of livestock and equine feed with market coverage throughout Great Britain. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the territory of these South East counties above. The product portfolio is a mix of feeds for horses, organic producers, smallholders and is sold mainly through merchants and agent stockists. Increasing sales is achieved by undertaking promotions/talks; presentations, trade shows, open days/evenings/cold calling and face to face contact with end users. Candidates need to demonstrate a mix of the following key attributes A bright enthusiastic “people person” who understands people A self starter with drive and self confidence, highlycompetitive, imaginative, willing and organised Target driven and results orientated Sales Experience preferred but an ambitious approach to selling and succeeding is essential Experienced in practical and theoretical equine and animal husbandry Passionately about feeding animals naturally IT literate and possesses a full driving license Flexible to work weekends/evenings and stay away from home when necessaryRenumeration
The job offers an attractive salary with target related bonus plus a fully expensed car
Location
Applicants will need to live either in the county of Essex or alternatively candidates living either Kent or Suffolk will also be considered. Candidates will work from home for this job role
