On behalf of a leading horticultural business working over 30 acres of “state of the Art” glasshouses, Shire Consulting is looking for an Procurement Controller to carry essential maintenance and also new project installation works

This successful business operates across twelve production sites locally utilising the latest computer-controlled transplanting and growing systems and operate a fleet of light goods vehicles, tractors and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will plan and implement the maintenance of all buildings, plant and equipment. Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and over-seeing time critical repairs will be a key part of the role, as will managing the work of others and liaising with colleagues. Experience of implementing Health & Safety procedures would be a definite advantage.

This position is open to candidates from all engineering disciplines; however specific experience and/or qualifications in the following may increase your chances:

• Electrical or electronic engineering
• Agricultural/Horticultural engineering
• Production/manufacturing engineering

REMUNERATION:
A Senior Salaried and Permanent Position £25K plus, according to experience and qualifications
