A leading horticultural Supply business in Lancashire requires a multi skilled engineer with essential project management experience to carry out new project installation works of irrigation systems. The target market for this work is prestigious football/sports grounds, golf courses and also in the horticultural business

This successful "hands on" candidate will operate a team of eight people in the implementation process. This requires excellent man management experience and an ability to create a team environment

The successful candidate with previous project management experience will need to take ownership of the full installation works after customer specification, purchase and agreement through the full implementation plan to timetable completion. This role involves organisation of the necessary component irrigation parts with internal colleagues, provision of on-site facility equipment on top of managing the work of the installation team. As the new irrigation installation works can be located anywhere in Great Britain . This can mean the team will need to stay away on project implementation sites for several days. At times, this will mean the unsocial hours of working reflected in the remuneration for this role.

Experience of implementing Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements would be a definite advantage at third party sites.

This position is open to candidates with project management/new installation experience as well as having a background engineering discipline; however specific experience and/or qualifications in the following may increase your chances: Irrigation engineering, Electrical or Electronic engineering, Agricultural/Horticultural engineering, Production/manufacturing engineering

REMUNERATION:
Senior Salaried and Permanent Position - circa £30- £35K plus bonus according to experience and qualifications

LOCATION:
South West Lancashire or consideration to being GB home based with good communication access to the Company's head office in Lancashire
