A Feed Straights Area Sales Manager is required to sell and trade straights particularly wet co products as well as blends to Dairy & Cattle farmers throughout Yorkshire and the North of England. Previous trading or sales experience to livestock farmers is essential.
Excellent communication ability along with good IT/computer skills is important for the successful candidate. Candidates need to have strong self-motivation with a desire to succeed.
Knowledge of feed straights and blends/cow diets is desirable albeit not essential if candidates have strong farm connections or sales skills. As well as working with the company’s customer base in the North, there will be a requirement to grow customer numbers.
An agricultural background knowledge and experience of livestock farming and feeding plus awareness/empathy of to-day’s livestock business farms is essential.

This role will home based, probably in Yorkshire and with regular weekly visits to the company’s local office.
